Post subject: Does anyone know any ways to protect social security number?

Hello everybody, I have been using my social security number for my taxation purposes. But, I have been recently intimidated by my lawyer that since the crime of identity theft has been on the high I should be careful in using it. I am really concerned about this and need to know whether there are any ways by which we can protect them.

The word you say is absolutely striking. The situations of identity theft are really increasing and it was only a few days that my friend had been a victim of this. That is when he was advised by his well-wishers to enroll for LifeLock. He had enquired with them and the services they offer are really a plus point in making us secure about our personal details. I too assume that his decision is right to go for such a deal as he is now very cautious about his details. I myself will be taking a step in the same way and advice you to do the same. For more information you can visit http://lifelock-reviews.com-411.com/ Hope this will help you too.

Hello,
Yes any information that you pass over the internet like passwords, credit card numbers and all that can be snifed and recorder. there are certain steps that you need to take to avoid such mishaps

1) regularly scan your pc for virus and spywares.
2) Do not click on links in emails from unknown people.
3)Make sure the site that you are entering information is using https protocol which is kinda of secure.
4) if you keep a record of information of password or number on your pc , password protect it

Identity theft becomes a common problem and usual for hackers to remain safe:
1. use the identity on internet when it is very necessary.
2.keep your system upgrade with advanced and latest security features.
3.do not use identity with a less known merchandise.
