found in alt.binaries.images.suntan:

Subject: Hillary Duff nude
Message-ID:

Content-Disposition: attachment;
filename="Hillary_Duff.scr"

Found similar attachment last week, and didn't notice it was a *.scr file
until I clicked on it. Zone Alarm caught it, and I cleaned up a registry
entry and deleted something else - I can't remember now. File contains
following string: "Google Robot v1.0 mIRC v6.03 Khaled Mardam-Bey mutexxz
svshost.exe BOT". My system is ok, but I saw this posted again and thought
I'd post this notice.

Welcome to Usenet. <g>

These various <celebrity> nude viruses masquerading as an .scr
screensaver have been polluting Usenet for eons. The rr.com 'poster'
is just another clueless user with an infected computer.

But thanks for the warning.

Hmmm.

Okay.

Do you have any anti-virus software?

I thought you said ZoneAlarm "caught" it!? If so, why were there things
to clean up?

It is a trojan*, but beyond that - who knows. If you scan it with a scanner
that is capable of identifying malware, you'll probably find it is a "Spybot"
variant.

It is a trojan because it is not (evidently) a Hillary Duff screensaver.

I tried to check it out for you, but it is not available on my server. Sad

I have several purported screensavers (trojans) that my Norton AV
detects as:

The "W32.Spybot.Worm" virus.

(how sad for J-Lo to be replaced by this upstart, <sigh> but that's show biz)
