I realize its a minor issue, but I wish Spybot would finally issue a
patch to fix the 5 "DSO Exploits" glitch.

Have you upgraded from version 1.2 yet? No updates have been issued
since February for that; you need to get the latest 1.3.something.

I just installed and ran SpyBot for the first time. It showed the 5 "DSO
Exploits" and I had them removed. Was this a big mistake?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Bill

Last updates were 20/8/04 so far as I know, that's on Spybot 1.3.1.

No, but if you run Spybot again, it will probably find the same 5
DSO Exploits again.

I have v1.3 with latest update 30/8/2004 and the 5 DSO Exploit problem is still
there. Maybe the fix is in v1.3.1?

Cheers . . . JC

Where did you get that version? I just went to Spybot's home page,
and the only version I can find is 1.3, not 1.3.1.

I don't believe you can update 1.2.
My 1.3 has been delivering regular updates on request. So I think you should
consider using 1.3 instead of 1.2
