Hi folks,

I have been suffering a strange "desease" on my computer. Randomly it
sounds a strange music, like a military march.

No antivirus software was able to detect it but it is without doubts a
malware due to the unpleasant effects it causes.

I was using PrevX, now i am using Nod32, I also downloaded Google's
Pack PC Tools Spyware Doctor, and also VTE.

I just want to give a try before reformatting my computer and having
to reinstall all the software I work with.

Any ideas?

Best regards

Sergio @ Lima, Perú

How old is this computer? And when is the last time you checked the cpu
cooling fan assembly?

That sounds to me like fur elise, a sign of cpu overheat warning. You may
wish to check the computer yourself, or have someone else do it. I don't
think? you have a software issue as yet.

Is the machine locking up hard on you? Blue Screening? refusing to start
right back into windows? Applications crashing for no apparent reason?
Bringing up the window inviting you to send a report to microsoft? Have
these symptoms only started occuring since it started playing the music?
And, does the music come from the pc speaker itself or across your
speaker system?

if you hear it playing this music and you reset the computer or restart
windows, before it goes back into windows, does it start playing the
music again?

I suspect the cpu is overheating.
