Hi all. Have anybody ever seen a set of autorun.* files onto his
harddisk? These files appear again even if we remove them. It is due
to aotorun.vbs started as autorun that is copying itself to the
location where it was removed. I have investigated script source. It
seems that it does not do any destructive operations. Have anybody run
into same situation?

I've occasionally run into that problem. Typically if it doesn't do
anything destructive, there's really no reason to delete it, but
removing the file and then removing its entry that causes it to
autoload (whether its in the registry, or system/win.ini) will usually
get rid of it. Same thing usually happens with a cd install and *.dir
files. Those little pests zero bytes, and just waste space, but I
delete them anyway. Hopefully that will help you.

Yes, sure. Thanks. But it is still interesting to me if somebody ever
investigated this a lot to understand what exactly it should do?
