Add SpyWareBlaster to your list and see if you get less malware.
It seems to help and really doesn't use any resources that slow down your
system.

I have Spyware Doctor but would like to replace it because it is such
a
resource hound. Which program uses the "least" amt. of resources AND
gives great protection?

I'd definitely try Malware Bytes for anyone looking for a better AntiSpyware. It doesn't have any tedious background running processes which is great unlike spyware doctor.

re Spyware Doctor - I have an oportunity to install a free Spyware Doctor with free updates til 2009. Is it any good? There are some shonky program and I have not heard of this one. Any advice apreciated.

SpyWare Doctor - I have just finished doing a 'Spam-check' on my computer using the free scan online software 'Spyware Doctor' and it as detected 226 infections? I have also scanned using my usual Spam-Ware 'Ad-Aware SE' and 'Spybot Search and Destroy', and they both....

Be careful with Spyware Doctor - If not set carefully, it runs in the background going through your cookies and deciding which ones should be removed. It removed one of my accounts from my bank site and I couldn't restore the account because the cookies didn't match up anymore. I..
