I have a few programs that have always passed Spybot and The Cleaner scans,
as well as antivirus scans. Today, all of a sudden, the Cleaner tells me
it's quarantined the main .exe files in two of these programs (WM Recorder,
and HD Regenerator 1.51) because they are infected with "setupFactory",
which is listed as a small program that goes online and downloads and
executes another Trojan.

I'm a bit suspicious about this claim, but want to be cautious at the same
time. Can someone comment on this "setupFactory" trojan.

Thanks,

jc

Submit them to www.virustotal.com and virusscan.jotti.org for a 2nd
opinion. Smile

I don't think you have anything to worry about. TheCleaner might just have
a false alarm issue.
