Post subject: pop3 and opera with avg free
Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

I use opera as my web browser, mail reader, etc. I really like it.

I just installed AVG free and it all seems to work well except:

When opera attempt to collect eMail a popup appears from avg telling me
that it is an "AVG eMail Scan / autoPOP3 connected to ..."

The ip address that it show is the correct address for my pop3 server.
However, this just remains forever and I do not get my mail. To
actually collect the mail I need to disable the mail protection feature
of AVG and I would prefer not to do that.
