I used Trends Pc-Cillin 2003 uneventfully for a awhile, until Windows XP-SP1 wouldn't load, and my BIOS started locking up after POST phase. As a thought - I decided to disable PC-cillin in Startup and on the next reboot the PC ran normally. I never did resolve what the problem was there (bad update, etc). Don't get me wrong, I feel Trend was - and still is a good choice for virus protection, but because of persistent problems with it, I eventually switched over to grisoft AVG.
