I have been satisfied with it. I've been using it on three computers for two
years.

i remember using it a few years back.
its firewall had serious problems i swear. had a friend "hax0r" me, it
showed his IP address as being "allowed" by the firewall.
still, i believe it's picked up its game recently - the reviews seem to
suggest so. and i found no fault with its AV scanner.

It is no longer a superior quality utility. Look elsewhere for security
tools.

Ed,

I like it. I have PC-cillin 2006.

One thing I really like is that it monitors my network and detects
strange computers. You can then authorize them to access the network
or not. Handy if you have wireless and unwanted intruders are a
possibility.

I used Trends Pc-Cillin 2003 uneventfully for a awhile, until Windows XP-SP1
wouldn't load, and my BIOS started locking up after POST phase. As a
thought - I decided to disable PC-cillin in Startup and on the next reboot
the PC ran normally. I never did resolve what the problem was there (bad
update, etc).

Don't get me wrong, I feel Trend was - and still is a good choice for virus
protection, but because of persistent problems with it, I eventually
switched over to grisoft AVG.
