Post subject: F-Prot misdisinfected virus warning
Archived from groups: alt>comp>virus (more info?)

I keep getting this warning with some Excel files we have created. They
definitely don't have a virus, and I understand this is a long-standing bug
with F-Prot. I contacted their support desk but they lost interest when they
saw it wasn't a virus.

It's a problem as our file server displays a virus warning every day, which
looks bad if anyone else happens to see it.

Question is, what can I do about it? The files in question are created by
another application which inserts VBA code into the spreadsheet. Is there
some code in particular which sets off the virus warning?

Has anyone else had any success with this problem?

Ray Greene.
