Hi,
My AVG on my PC works fine but when I recently installed it on new
laptop I have a problem - Every time I start up I have to reactivate
the "Resident Shield" function again. I have the AVG 6.0 free version
and WinXP Home on Toshiba Satellite A10 laptop. Anyone else had this
happen and know of any solution? TIA, Denise.

Did you try the update ? I know with an older version of AVG you will have
problems with XP until you do the update. Maybe uninstall and install the
latest version will work. Also worth mentioning some worm virus will not let
AVG load at startup.

RERM.DeleteThis@CHELLO.NL rOB eCKLESTONE SAY:
WHY DO YOU NOT USE THE PROGRAM "SPAMBUSTER" IT WORKS FINE AND IT LOOK
FIRST IN YOUR MAILBOX ON THE SERVER FROM YOUR PROVIDER.
THEN YOU HAVE A LOT OF EMAILS THEN YOU SEE THAT THEY SELECTED WITH A
"RED MARK".
LEAVE IT IS IT IS, BUT YOU CAN SELECT EMAILS THAT YOU WANT.
THE REST WILL BE DELETED.

THIS IS THE BEST PROTECTION AGAINST VIRUSSEN.

GOOD LUCK,
ROB EKLESTONE, THE NETHERLANDS.
