Have you ensured that all Windows Updates are applied?
It might be worth running the repair process on OE - I believe you can do
this through it's (Or Internet Explorer's) Add/Remove Programs entry. If
not, search Microsoft's support site for more details.
It could also be a broken message file or something on the file system,
maybe a chkdsk would find something.
