Post subject: Can't install AVG 9.0

My bro successfully downloaded the new version of AVG anti-virus 9.0 on his desktop computer running Win XP, but can't install it. Whenever he clicks the 'Run' button there is not any response. He downloaded it again, but still have same issue. Can't figure out whats the problem.. Need your help to fix this.
