Post subject: help! virus in USB drive

hi,

i have a problem with my usb drive. it is a sony 2GB one. I have about 50 files in it but I can't access them. I use windows xp. When I plug the pen drive in the usb port everything is ok. The problem starts when I try to open the pen drive in "My Computer". When I click the "Removable disk E:" I get to see the files in the drive but then Windows Explorer crashes and I am forced to close it with the "end task" tool. When I do that my screen goes blank, showing only my wallpaper for a few seconds. Then everything goes back to normal, but I cannot do anything with my pendrive.

I researched this and other forums and found
out about the Recycler virus. I followed a guide to fix this, cause it seemed like i had this virus. according to this guide i was infected with this virus. i followed every step and completed them succesfully but the problem is still there. I also tried with autorun eater, but no luck, it didn't find anything

can anyone help me with this?

Is this still happening? Does it only occur on one PC? Does it only occur on one USB drive?

You just scan your USB with a good antivirus software to remove the virus and after that open USB by selecting Explore option by right click, one thing must confirm weather this thing happened with your system only and also others and also scan your system completely.
