Hi Just installed the free version of AVG and have a few questions. A
few months ago I got a new computer to replace my older one and a
larger HD. For the time being I have the new and the old HD on my
computer. The old one is drive D and new one is drive C. How do I
configure AVG to scan drive C because when I ran it the first time I
think it only scanned D and eventually I will take out the old HD.
Does AVG only check outlook exspress mail? I am using Eudora.

Thanks
Michelle

In AVG go to Results >> Test results >> double click on an entry and it will
show you what drives it scanned. Go to Service >> Complete test settings
>> Select >> click on the My Computer + and select the drives.

No idea about Eudora but AVG will warn you immediately if you open an
infected attachment.

By the way, your newsreader is way down level. Forte Free Agent 1.21/32.243
and current is 1.92 I believe.

Right-click on the icon in your system tray.

Select "Run AVG Anti-Virus"

Whn the big window comes up, select "Run Complete Test". Watch what it
does to ensure that it scans both C: and D:. It will usually scan C:
first.

Somebody else will have to answer that, but if the pathetic message
about "Outgoing Mail Guaranteed Virus-Free" isn't turned off, please
turn it off. It's in the options somewhere.

Service/Complete Test Settings

>Does AVG only check outlook exspress mail? I am using Eudora.

AVG6 will scan Eudora e-mail. Settings on E-Mail Scanner tab in AVG
Control Center (Program/AVG Control Center).
