On Sat, 20 Sep 2003 23:36:46 GMT, Michelle's long-suffering mother
turned her back for just a moment, and Michelle did *this* to
alt.comp.virus:
>Hi Just installed the free version of AVG and have a few questions. A
>few months ago I got a new computer to replace my older one and a
>larger HD. For the time being I have the new and the old HD on my
>computer. The old one is drive D and new one is drive C. How do I
>configure AVG to scan drive C because when I ran it the first time I
>think it only scanned D and eventually I will take out the old HD.
Right-click on the icon in your system tray.
Select "Run AVG Anti-Virus"
Whn the big window comes up, select "Run Complete Test". Watch what it
does to ensure that it scans both C: and D:. It will usually scan C:
first.
>Does AVG only check outlook exspress mail? I am using Eudora.
Somebody else will have to answer that, but if the pathetic message
about "Outgoing Mail Guaranteed Virus-Free" isn't turned off, please
turn it off. It's in the options somewhere.
