Post subject: Does free Avira treat viruses? Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)
I use free Avira but in its help I don't see any info about removing or
quarantining viruses that it finds. Probably does, but can somebody say
for sure? (thanks)

Avira AntiVir Premium free for 6 months - Avira have a promotion for their Premium edition anti-virus for 6 months. https://license.avira.com/en/promotion-t0q1aatr05zwftftgnqr So get it while you can.
Free AntiVir vs Free BitDefender - At http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=30082.0 , I find AntiVir and BitDefender are rated higher than Avast and AVG. I am told there are problems with Free AntiVir update. How is the update function of Free BitDefender? Is Free BitDefender better..
