Post subject: Need free AV for Win 98SE?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

We have two old laptops used for travel, just net surfing, e-mail, etc. The laptop run Win98SE and
are to old and slow to upgrade to XP or anything like it. We are unable to find a Anti Virus
program, preferably free, that will run on them being AVG is discontinuing support for 7.X and 8.
does not run on 98. Any ideas or hints?

Yes I'm using it on old laptop when I travel .
Win 98. Not 98SE either.
