Questions about fp-up and spybot s&d

These two questions are unrelated though...

As for the fp-up, am I doing something wrong, or is the fp-up unable
to create a set of emergencu boot disks when run from an NTFS drive?
All the other options work very well, but when I try to run this one,
simply nothing happens?

Spybot question is in regard of New.Net spyware (trojan?)
If Spybot detects, say, 10 instances of New.Net, and I click on "Fix",
is that all that needs to be done, od do I need to do anything else?
