Post subject: Spybot error message
Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)
After running Spybot S&D I get a message saying "error during check!
Z-Demon (Ungultiger Datentyp fur")". There should be some umlauts on
the u's in the brackets.

Does anyone know what this error message means? sounds ominous!

I already have 'Ad-aware' and 'avast'(the free version) on my system
but these don't seem to remove the Z-demon.

I got the same error too. F***cking spyware.

That makes things clearer. Seems to be an erroneous error message
that occurs a lot.

Irritating yes, but reasonable also.

We can't expect German programs to have all their error messages in
English. Besides, he is doing a lot of work for free.
