Post subject: Panda and email (also the "microsoft email")
Archived from groups: alt>comp>virus (more info?)

I am getting the "microsoft Update" virus via email up to 15 emails a day, I
just delete them all but it is clogging my mail box. I have email rules to
auto delete them but the "from" and "subject" names always change so I still
get alot through.

The problem I have with panda is that if the email protection is on it will
not download the email virus to my computer but because this email is being
blocked so are all the emails behind it. So the result is the email pop
server timing out all the time. To get email i have to turn email protection
off.

Am I doing something wrong with the settings? I have the full version of
panda platnuim 7.0.

Any advice will be welcome

Grets

You should setup panda to either delete or quarantine incoming mail that's
infected instead of prompt for action.

prompting is all panda does (then auto deletes, but you have to click
OK for it to go to the next message)

"prompting is all panda does (then auto deletes, but you have to click
OK for it to go to the next message)

Open Panda Platinum 7 and go to "configure permanent protection". Then
click to "configure permanent mail protection".
Click on the tab labeled "Warnings" and inside there "un-check" the box
which says "show local warning".
That should get rid of the prompt and the Panda will just do it's worked
without asking your permission.
I have been enjoying this program. It seems very impressive.
