Post subject: Free on-demand AV?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

Hello

Can anyone suggest a free on-demand scanner that meets the following:

- light on the system: doesn't install a bunch of services and drivers that
simply renders the OS so slow
- good and up-to-date: something known and really good.
- really free: I used to use BitDefender free edition, but it ironically
expires! Smile

Thanks,
Elias
