Post subject: Something creating random number EXE??

This may not be a virus, I have scanned with a up to date Norton and a few
addware programs. But something is creating exe files starting with a random
string of numbers. Norton keeps reporting that it trying to access the
internet. every time it's a different number! can any one help?

well the files that the log highlighted are ping11172.exe
ping28387.exe
ptask.exe.
I would post the log file but i work for the probation service and i do some
work from home and it does list some of the folders and files. so i hope the
above helps.

No, alas those are file names.
I'm more curious about the infector's name such as; "Downloader-DJ", "Qhosts.apd" or
"W32/Gaobot.worm.gen.g". You can find that information in the SYSCLEAN.LOG file in the same
directory as SYSCLEAN.COM.
