I have NAV 10.0.1.13 installed on my wife's machine with all current
updates.

She likes to email large photo files. Although I have the "scan
outgoing messages" instruction de-selected on the Norton options
screen, NAV insists on scanning outgoing messages. When Outlook
thinks that it finishes and drops the line, the message didnt go out
because NAV isn't finished doing the scan that I specifically told it
not to do.

Why is NAV ignoring the 'do not scan outgoing' selection?

And why is it taking so bloody long to do the scan, anyway? It's only
47% completed on a 3M message, running Win2K on a P4 with 512M memory,
5 minutes after we began the shutdown process thinking that we were
done for the morning.
