Yesterday morning I got on my computer to see that Norton 2005
Anti-Virus had detected 12 occurances of bloodhound.exploit.69 but
could not automatically fix it. I was unable to quarantine or delete
these. Symantic website said it was discovered on May 19 and that the
solution to removal was making sure you had up-to-date virus
definitions. Well I did and I scanned my system again...still can't
delete or quarantine these files. Started a chat session with Symantic
support who seemed confident they could instruct me how to manually
remove them..BUT they want $39 minimum to do to. Well that kinda ticks
me off, why won't Norton remove these and what am I paying for when I
subscribe to Norton? Does anyone know how to remove this without having
to pay Symantic? Thanks.
