Hello,

Is there a possible setting in AVG 7 where you can let the program delete a
found virus,
without interaction from anyone?
This pc is set up as a mail-server, and I don't want to ask the personel to
walk to the mailserver every 5 minutes.

Pascal.

i'm reasonably certain that no-one here with more than a few brain
cells is going to tell you how to turn AVG into a time-bomb... if you
configure it to automatically delete viruses it *will* eventually screw
up your computer by deleting necessary files it erroneously thinks are
infected...

either there is an alternative setting/feature for this case or AVG is
ill-suited for mail server use...

Well, I mean "deleting email with virus".

I found the feature, but it's not available in the AVG - free version. So I
need the full version.

Thanks.

I would imagine you are violating the TOS running this freebie on a server
anyway.

Just for testing? Why can't I test a free version before I buy it?
Anyway, I saw there's a trial of the full version. I will test that one.

And were talking about a junior scool here, where there only volunteers
(like me) working on the network.
A few years ago, I have set things up. All worked well, but we had a lot of
trouble with our "well payed for" Norton.
Therefore I want to kick Norton out of every pc in that Network.
I did more work on solving troubles on Norton, than anything else.
("update troubles" were the most frequent, and Norton disabled the most
dangerous)

The free version is NOT the same as the full version you pay for. Therefore your test are
invalid.

I'm sorry -- Your previous answer lead me to believe you had the free version not a trial
version of the paid version Sad
