Has anyone else seen their Windows 98se systems become totally unstable
after applying the 5th May update for McAfee antivirus. I have noticed
this on at least 5 systems. Removing McAfee cures the problem. Getting
this update seems to be as bad as a virus!!!!

I'm getting very confused here - you just said McAfee stopped supporting
Win9x/Me - but in your earlier message you said it was MS that did this.

But also, the box that the VirusScan 2006, vs 10 came in, specifically
states Win 98 and Me is covered.

Not attacking David - you've helped me a number of times, just looking for
clarification mate.
