Post subject: why use anti-virus
Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus, others (more info?)

If your computer was installed on the internet without a firewall then
any anti-virus application wont keep you very protected because Trojan
Horses and Backdoors disable these applications. Want proof then you
can email me and this will be proven to you.

NO, it won't: It's anti-VIRUS, not anti- the rest of the
stuff you men tioned, But, it will catch viruses, which
spyware won't, firewalls won't, etc. etc.. Negative
statements give negative, often useless information. Like
you are.
