A trojan infected files in Windows/system32 as detected by Norton
Antivirus Corporate 10. I also have a firewall - Zone Alarm, and XP
Pro SP2

I did the scan, and deleted files quaranteened. Then I did another
scan in safe mode and no additional viruses in that folder were found.

But the problem persists. When I restart in normal mode, windows seems
to load only partialy. I don't see any programs in my tray, and I
can't open the start menu or get anything on the desktop to open.
Checking the resources, CPU usage is low, and memory usage is also low,
so no program seems to be consumign all the resources.

Should I just reinstall Windows, or is it better to reformat?

The problem could have NOTHING to do with the Trojans found by NAV.

To be sure, please post the fully qualified name and path of the files deemed to be infected
as well as the name of the Trojan NAV identified as.
