Post subject: McAfee's advertising in the "tray"
Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

My McAfee AV periodically pops up commercials for its products, in the
"tray". I really dislike this practice. Is there any way to turn it off? I
don't mind if they're offering warnings for some new dangerous virus or some
other useful info, but not their blatant advertising.
