McAfee VirusScan Enterprise

Hi,

(I have also posted this to a Win2000 group).

We have two Win Terminal Servers - a 2000 one with 20 users and a 2003
server with 15 users. Both have McAfee VirusScan 8.0 Enterprise
installed. However, each user that logs on gets a process (actually
about 2 or 3 processes related to McAfee) which consumes between 20 and
30MB.

So with 20 users, around 600MB is given just to a/v! We do have 2GB of
memory on the servers, so not a major issue, but I wondered if I should
be configuring this any differently? Or is there a better suited
product to protect users?

If it only ran as administrator, and a user (without the process
started for them) got a virus, would the admin process detect? Does
that make sense?

Any advice would be greatly received.
