Hi NG,

we have just switched from SAV to McAfee VirusScan 8.

Usually we are installing new Windows servers by cloning images from a
master server.

Checking the clones I noticed that the schedules for "Scan All Fixed Disks"
and "AutoUpdate" have been lost during cloning. Both Tasks show the status
"Not Scheduled".

I suppose that the necessary files have kept the old (master) server name
and
this will result in an inconsistency.

Does anybody have a hint for me ?

Thanks and best regards,
Erwin

Basically you are right; but, as we are only part of a large group, we have
to
wait for the new infrastructure which may need a few more weeks to be
established.
In the meantime we cannot stop installing new servers.

In other words: it's an interim solution we are looking for.

Best regards,
Erwin
