McAfee VirusScan 7.02.6000

I have a strange problem with McAfee 7.02.6000

When I started my notebook the system date was January 1, 1980. No idea why.
I reset the date and everything worked fine, with the exception of my McAfee
VirusScan 7. It claimed the update permit had expired and showed a nag
screen every few minutes. It should expire some time in August.

Does anybody know how I can solve this problem?

You can set it to manual update and the nags go usually or I can get a tech
to reset your account. may not be worthwhile as u say only 1 month though if
you want I can chase it up for you.
