Hello,
My machine has an infection. My virus detector and spyware removal tools
continue to find and remove files and registry infections. But, I keep
getting new viruses, adware, and spyware keep poping up and being caught by
my programs.
I ran CA eTrust antivirus, Adaware, and SpyBot in both Windows and Safe
Mode. I also ran the Microsoft Malware Removal Tool and it found 0 errors.
The antivirus and adware programs keep removing things but more problems
keep cropping up. The computer operates OK but I keep getting ad popups and
suggestions to download and run some malware programs that I am avoiding.
Some of the problems that have been caught have been:
Smithfraud-C.toolbar888
Chisyne!generic
..Zblob
adware.mytoolbar
adware.safetybar
TJ/BZ
ishoste.exe
isminn.exe
sasla.AM
sillyDI.AM
and more like this.
Is there some other tool that I can use to clean this mess up?
Thanks,
Bob >> Stay informed about: Virus and spyware help? |

Hello Dave,
Thank you so much for the recommendations. They worked like a charm. I had
over 300 files and registry entries that had to be removed. Everything seems
good now.
Thanks Again,
