Hi there,

I wonder if anyone could help me with some advice.

I am running XP Home on SP2 and IE7, I believe and I have contracted the
above trojan which is causing all sorts of nuisance: pop-ups, system
warnings, browser crashes etc. I have had it for a week and it seems to be
getting worse. I have looked on the web for advice but I am not entirely
trustful of some the sites offering help.

Does anyone know how best to deal with this?

Thanks,

Matt

In article <fpqe66$4f3$1@blackhelicopter.databasix.com>, pcbutts1
@leythosthestalker.com says...

Hosted on a filthy porno site, filth created by Butts and he's proud of
it - enough to post links to it in public....

Do you really want to trust someone like Butts with full access to your
computer and network?

Fight exposing kids to porn, complain about sites like PCBUTTS 1.COM
that create filth and put it on the web for any kid to see: Just take a
look at some of the FILTH he's created and put on his website:
http://forums.speedguide.net/archive/index.php/t-223485.html all exposed
to children (the link I've include does not directly display his filth).
You can find the same information by googling for 'PCBUTTS1' and
'exposed to kids'.

Try the free version of SuperAntiSpyware. Install it, update it and run it.
Although it is mainly for spyware, it sometimes does an excellent job on
some Trojans.
If you don't like it, just use its uninstall program to get rid of it.
If you use it, post back and let me know if it helped your problem.
Just add a ".com" to its name to get to their site.
I liked it well enough to buy the paid version.
PS: The free version is just as powerful as the paid version, but the free
version is 'on-demand' only and does not automatically update itself.

If you set SAS to load when windows starts it will auto-update.

Thanks guys. I have just run Superantispyware and it seems to have done the
job. If the system remains clear I'll even donate a few bucks.
