Post subject: Unusual activity at goverment website

Call me crazy but I happened to visit the cia website last night(I went there on a lark becuase it happened to come up in a random search I did apparently World leaders is part of there motto Smile
. and after i was there a few minutes my computers resources started going nuts not to mention net resurces began sendingdata. I left the site and my computer continued to move information. I have bitdefender threatfire and winpatrol but there were zero activity for them. aside from winpatrol showing an unusually high level of activex files being created or accessed I had numerous .dll files showing up as well.
anyone have a similar experience?
