My windows ME computer has the Trojan. Sinkin infection.
I have tried to open Norton, but I can't, and I get the message "NMAIN has
caused error in NMAIN.EXE" . I did a Norton scan via the internet, and I
know which files are infected:
c:\bootconf.exe
c:\av.exe
c:\windows\default.css
c:\windows\web\oslogo.bmp

How can I get Norton up and running, so that I can delete these files?
Or is there a better way?
Thanks!

How can a .css file be virus infected?

CSS files are text files that only contain HTML attribute settings.

CSS commands can't contain executable code--or so I thought.

But IE lets a .css execute javascript code.
It's how those nasty f**king browser hijackers work.
