Thanks for the reply. Norton detected it using their "System Security
Check" ( I think that's what they call it) but did not remove the file. It
just says it had been found and called it "Trojan Horse" and offered no
other information. I think you are right that it may me more adware than a
trojan and Norton did not distinguish that.
I'll try some of the adware packages and see what we find.
