Trojan Horse Generic8.LDI False Positive

Post subject: Trojan Horse Generic8.LDI False Positive
Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus, others (more info?)

My Free AVG has just done it's daily scan and it's come up with this
Virus/Trojan Horse.

It was in the following place:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Works Shared\wkcalrem.exe

This I understand is part of MS Works. Anyway I removed it.

I then tried to reinstall works. AVG then says that the Virus is on the
Microsoft Works Disc.

Is it a false positive???

possibly... try submitting the file to grisoft (the makers of avg) to be
sure... if it is a false alarm then they are really the only ones who
can fix the problem...

AVG just had a second update and it's no longer a virus!!!
