Per Pete:
>I have a chance to buy this pretty cheaply, but I've heard it's a resource
>hog. Anyone have any experience with it??

Had it for about 2 years and my experience was negative.

Dropped it, moved to Avast!, and never looked back.

Don't know enough to critique it on technical grounds, but I found the UI tb
unacceptable when stuff started to happen: interruptive warnings - try getting
some work done when some outside entity is bumping up against it's FireWall 2-3
times/second...)

Also found that their user support was useless: mostly inane boilerplate in the
email responses at first, and then no response at all later on.

There's more... but, like I said, I've move on...

WAIT!
Before you make any drastic or stupid moves, it does NOT take up 70MB.
The process that run with IS, the time you iniciate Windows, occupies
almost 70 MB, but then it goes down considerably after loading, which
takes about 5 minutes only. The proccesses don't use 25 MB each, so
here I'm going to write the process it uses and the amount each one use
in the memory:

pccguide.exe 2820 KB

pcCtlCom.exe 8640 KB

PcScnSrv.exe 11740 KB

Tmntsrv.exe 752 KB

TmPfw.exe 4752 KB

TmProxy.exe 4468 KB

----------- --------

6 processes 33172 KB

TMIS2007 is one of the best suites ever.

Before you make any drastic or stupid moves, it does NOT take up 70MB.
The process that run with IS, the time you iniciate Windows, occupies
almost 70 MB, but then it goes down considerably after loading, which
takes about 5 minutes only. The proccesses don't use 25 MB each, so
here I'm going to write the process it uses and the amount each one use
in the memory:

pccguide.exe 2820 KB

pcCtlCom.exe 8640 KB

PcScnSrv.exe 11740 KB

Tmntsrv.exe 752 KB

TmPfw.exe 4752 KB

TmProxy.exe 4468 KB

----------- --------

6 processes 33172 KB

TMIS2007 is one of the best suites ever.
