Hi,
I help people with their computers and follow a few of the groups
here.
It seems no matter how many times I try to get people to run Ad-Aware
SE and Spybot Search and Destroy, the users just keep making the same
mistakes.
The biggest problem seems to be teens using IM.
What do you tell these users?
What do you install on the computer to help?

thanks
Karl

That you'll charge $N/hour to sort it out next time, where N is
something that will strike fear into their black little hearts.

An extra hard drive, that they don't know about, and that's
only connected when I'm using the computer. They're amazed
how fast I've gotten at restoring their system, after they've
giving up trying<g>.
