Aw hell, I'll answer anyway.

....and I'll assume you mean anti-trojan and anti-virus.

Some of the better anti-virus programs do a good enough job
of detecting trojans to make running *both* unnecessary.

Some *high risk* users will not see much benefit from
either because they will not properly use them anyway.

I would suggest a good AV and an occasional AT scan
coupled with safe computing practices. But it is *possible*
to be completely safe with only the latter, if properly done.

(but I wouldn't even trust myself to be that thorough)

Personally I run both, plus a software firewall and have yet, fingers
crossed, to experience any intrusion problems.

There is so much activity in the area or virus and trojan programming
that it is not possible for even the most efficient AVG apps to detect
and supply fixes for everything that is happening.

The important things IMHO is to be very careful about opening
attachments, doing regular backups and share files with caution.
