Post subject: F-Prot for Windows Updater Error Message

Hi,

Has anyone else using F-Prot for Windows seen this Updater error message?

"Failed to retrieve information about the status of your update
subscription.
System error: The system cannot find the file specified."

My subscription has not expired and a repair install has not fixed the
problem. My OS is Windows XP SP2 and I've never had any problem with F-Prot
before.

Sounds like Frisk's server did not find the file with the status of your
update subscription. Try again a day later. If it still does not work,
contact Frisk.

Problem solved. F-Prot Updater makes use of a component in Internet
Explorer (why?) and I had left IE in Work Offline mode.
