Recently I have been having problems with my computer and decided to
run the AV-CLS scan in safe mode.

When I tried running Sophos, I got a pop up saying that the system was
shutting down because the scanner files for Sophos were missing and
that I should download them in normal mode.

How do I get these necessary files?

Thanks,

Rich

Please read the included PDF Help File. It explains how to use a surrogate PC to download
the needed files and transfer them to an infected PC.
