Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

I have twice been in touch with McAfee about a problem with SecurityCenter -
a white screen is shown rather than the various options.

Finally they told me to reinstall the various McAfee software.

This I have done.

Besides the problem not having been sorted out, I now cannot access BT Yahoo
(which is managed by Yahoo).

I receive this screen
http://edit.europe.yahoo.com/config/verify?.done=http%3a//bt.yahoo.com/%3f

"The browser you're using refuses to sign in. (cookies rejected)"

I have checked the settings as suggested by MacAfee in Internet Explorer
Tools/Internet Options/Privacy and Security.

I can access other websites and I get a message asking me whether I wish to
accept or reject cookies which was as previously.

Nick

I have still got McAfee on the case, but I have been able to access the BT
Yahoo logon by Disabling McAfee Privacy Service.

It transpired that I was entering as an Administrator and I hadn't
registered myself as a User.

Having done this I had to tell it that User Nick (ie me) was allowed to
access the cookies on the BT Yahoo website.

Complicated - you bet!
