Post subject: New Problem with AVG and XP sp2
Archived from groups: alt>comp>virus (more info?)

We've been replacing old computers. The new computers have XP spk2 and
latest windows updates. AVG 7 (full version, not the free ver) is the last
thing I install. It does the install just fine. After this, opening programs
or dialog boxes is very slow. Killing any AVG process and stopping any AVG
doesn't help much. Uninstalling AVG gets the computer fast again. AVG is
idle (not scanning) so it is not that. Never had problem before so it could
be some Windows update incompatability.

Anyone else run into this?
Thanks, -S
