| spyware/adaware query - OK -- Every so often I run adaware. If I run it say every 6 weeks, it comes up with about 30 items. They are all termed What does that mean? I keep these files. Also, clearly these items keep coming back. How can I figure out..

Spyware blaster/Ad-Aware SE results - I just installed version 3.2. I have it set to block tracking cookies. Yet when I run a scan with Ad-Aware SE, it still finds a few tracking cookies. Is this to be expected? My PC is running XP Home SP2, and my web browser is..

Your software firewall won't "catch" it either when it first comes
into and installs itself on your system. And the nasty stuff, like
root kits, will bypass your firewall like it wasn't even there.
Where do you surf? Geeze, I never get fun stuff like that.
You must not us a hosts file, or adaware/spybot/spyware blaster, or

I don't use much of a hosts file, don't have adware/spybot/spyware
blaster running... Java is updated...  , and I am still running xp-sp1,
the benefits of sp2 weren't worth it to me.
