Ask.com took over my PC!

Today I have my most visited sites all blocked off by ask.com. I do
not use the website at all, but when I use IE the ask.com module kicks
in and takes control. I cannot silence the beast.

So when I enter www...... in the Address bar, the ask.com module
redirects the browser to ask.com and when I try and get my site again
it says Page not Found. But they are major websites.

Can I get my PC back from ask.com?

Uninstall their toolbar.
