PC-Cillin: Gets Goofey Under XP?

Just moved from Windows 2000 to XP and now PC-Cillin keeps prompting me with
"New components detected. Do you want to update?".

Done it enough times now - with the subsequent reboot - that it seems pretty
clear that we're in some kind of loop.

I guess I'll call TrendMicro support in the end, but the last time was a
heart-wrenching experience....-)

Anybody been here?

There is a fix. I remember seeing it in TM's KB, back when I was using
their TIS 2004 product. Suggest going to their w/s and typing that error
you're getting into their search engine.
