I'm thinking of setting up a small home network one three computers already
linked by a router for internet access (one main desktop, a second desktop
for my son's gaming, and my laptop). I run Trend PC-Cillin 2004 and my main
computer -- and have liked it -- but now I'm not sure what's the best way to
protect the other computers. Does PC-Cillin 2005, installed on one computer
protect all other computers in a network? Or do I need to buy separate
copies for each computer?
Thanks for any advice.

Oh, one more complication: the computers each run on a different OS. Windows
2K Pro, ME and 98SE.

Trend has a Home Network Package that you can buy 3 licenses for. To
upgrade from a 1 license TIS 2004 to a 3 license TIS 2005, it cost me $
39.95. I'd say that's pretty inexpensive.

Where did you find it at that price? The best I've found for the Home
Network 3-license is $66!

Look on their web-site under upgrades. That's where I found it.
Normally, they sell 3 a license package for $ 86. The upgrade price for
a 3 license package is $ 39. Of course, you have to be upgrading a
PCCillin product in order to get it. It asks for your old license when
you install the new package.

Ah-ha. I DIDN'T notice the upgrade part. And I do have PCCillin 2004 running
now so I guess I qualify. Thanks! I promise to read more carefully from now
on.
