Has anyone experienced problems with NOD32's latest update - My version
information is listed below. My problem is that after updating the latest
components today, my system is slower to boot, the desktop "hangs" for a
while when booting, it prevents my APC Power Cute icon from showing on my
taskbar, as well as prevents the NOD32 icon from appearing on the taskbar. I
upgraded my second PC, and the problem appears there as well (I do not have
APC Power Chute loaded on that PC). I've un-installed NOD32 and
re-installed, and the problem doesn't appear until I update to today's
release.

I ran the component update on two XP machines. I had no problems in doing
so and everything seems to be working fine. However, I ran the component
update on a Win 2K machine and the NOD32 Control Center Icon didn't show in
the Job tray after two reboots. So, I started the Control Center and it
showed in the Job tray. I rebooted after that a couple of times and it
doesn't seem to have any problems.

I have not noticed any slowness on any of the machines.

I did notice that when I updated, it was VERY slow to update.
After rebooting, it seems a bit slower on loading, but after it
loaded everything seemed fine.
